Tuesday, July 2 Port McNeill

I had a 11 am appointment at the clinic to get a prescription filled that I forgot to get when we were here last week.  Another $100.00 for the visit.  We then went over to Telegraph Cove for lunch.  http://www.hellobc.com/telegraph-cove.aspx  We didn't bring Merlin because we weren't sure how “dog friendly” the town was.  The sun is out, the temperature is in the high 60's and the cove is charming.  They had a couple small shops and the whole boardwalk is a historical area.  They have huge fire hoses about every 50 ft.  I can see why when you realize that the boardwalk and all the buildings are made of old wood.  There a couple large boats, like ours, that are here in the marina.  Nice to know.  We will have to come here on the boat.  Most of the area between Telegraph Cove and Port McNeill is heavily wooded.  Very pretty area.
